Today, I started a new part of a project that I was going to have all day to do and I was excited. The day just didn’t start out right at all. The hill that was before me was small however, throughout the day that hill became the biggest mountain in the world. Taking a break didn’t help. Eating a healthy lunch didn’t help. When I returned to the mountain it just seemed to be so large that I would never get on top of it. Well it is now 3:34 in the afternoon and I finally have conquered that damn mountain. There is a little more of a hill left for the next hour or so, but I made it!
I guess what I am trying to communicate with you is that no matter the size of the hill even if it is a mountain. Keep it going, don’t stop trying to climb it. No matter how frustrating the process. In the end, that project will get done and completed. Maybe not in your time but in the time it required no matter the set-backs. We set ourselves up sometimes to fail without knowing it. Know what you are capable of and then sit back and work it out no matter the time. It is all worth the struggle and the time.
You are actually better for the tough times; when they offer sunshine in the end.
