I know it’s a Sunday and it is still Football season. But…at least once a day one must take a time out. Your mind, body and soul have to re-energize for good health, good mindset, and good spirit. Meditation is one way to do this. Another is just to take some time to yourself and hangout with yourself.
We all need some time to think without distraction, without the company of others, and the noise. I have learnt that if you are not happy being alone once in a while, you might need to ask why. You can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Love yourself and your company.
If this is not possible, find out what you don’t like about self, and change it for the better. If we find we don’t like ourselves, how can we expect others to? Keep it real and be the best version of yourself first and foremost.
