How does one find out where the numbers come from in a Numerology chart? What information is required to calculate a chart? Are there any numbers better than others? Have you ever had a chart done by a professional numerologist?  Would you want to know how to calculate your number in numerology?

We will answer these questions and more to help one understand. There is so much more to discuss as this is only the beginning portion.

Premise behind the Mystical

The universe is a fine-tuned machine working in perfect order. Numbers are considered a constant.

These two have something in common and that is they are not random but a constant and work in perfect order. What this means is that both are very orderly and specific in their design and function. This also means that the numbers have their own vibration and thus qualities.

There are so many scientific elements to consider as well as so many number characteristics that change depending on what is considered. Numerology is based on the unity of what manifests in our lives. Names and our birth dates are all connects with the part of our inner being and at such a deeper level. Our rational minds can’t understand these connections as much as the intuitive mind can. Our intuitive minds can get the concepts of relationships and our outer world energies. Each word we use has a vibration feeling to go with a thought. This basically means that when you hear the word “peace” a feeling can appear of peace; this would be the same for love, as you feel a loving feeling when you hear it.

When we find out our numbers for different parts of the chart it helps us to understand ourselves at a much greater level. When a reading is conducted it has so many factors to consider. You can find out your name number, but without doing a complete chart, using your name, birth date, and more; can you actually find out what it all means to you and your life. Depending on where your numbers fall on exercise chart will have specific characteristics regarding your inner self.

From where do the numbers come?

Numerology deals with single digit numbers. Numerology numbers when calculated can create double digit numbers and they must be reduced down to a single digit number. There are special numbers, however that never reduce, but first things first. For now and for this exercise your full name at birth is all that is required. This would include your first name, middle name (if you have one) and your last name as it is shown on your birth certificate. Even when your name has been changed due to marriage, or you go by another name; at this point for the first portion of your chart it is the name on your birth certificate.  This is one of many numbers found in a numerology reading.

What is the formula to calculate your Destiny number in Numerology?

Numerology deals with the numbers from 1 to 9 to arrive at the numbers for each letter. You will need the basic chart of letters and their corresponding number in order to calculate the needed number calculations. We will use addition and subtraction when figuring this out. As I stated before, when you review the chart below you will notice that it repeats itself from 1-9 and then again 1-9 as these are the only single digit numbers available for this process. Grab a pencil and paper and Let’s get started:

A = 1        H = 8      O = 6      V = 4

B = 2        I = 9        P = 7      W = 5

C = 3       J = 1         Q = 8      X = 6

D = 4      K = 2         R = 9      Y = 7

E = 5       L = 3         S = 1       Z = 8

F = 6       M = 4       T = 2

G = 7       N = 5        U = 3

Each letter of your name has a corresponding number attached to it. On your paper, write your name and then list the numbers below them for each of the letters. i.e. As a sample we will use Adam for the name and it would look like this:

Do this for your entire name at birth, each name separately. Please refrain from moving forward as you might add together the wrong numbers giving you an incorrect calculation.

Great! Now that you have completed that here is the next step. In order to calculate to the correct number for your chart add together the numbers in your first name and then add separately the numbers in your middle name and then do this again for your last name. Let’s use the name Matthew, which looks like this. Matthew = 4 1 2 2 8 5 5; adding them together equals #27. We need this to become a single digit, next step is (27) 2 + 7 = 9. The first name Matthew is a “9”. Do this example for each portion of your name. Note: if your name is extremely long, you may have a three digit number, and that is fine. What you would do to reduce it would be to add 1st + 2nd + 3rd = reduce. All number need to be reduced to a single number so if is not a single do this step again until it is.

After your calculations for each name, now as a final calculation and/or reduction we will be adding the three numbers together. Below we are sharing the entire calculation process with an example so you can see how your numbers should be.

1+4+4+1 =9 1+1+9+4=15 1+4+9+2+8=24

9 1+5 = 6 2 + 4 = 6

Final calculation = 9 + 6 + 6 = 21 = 2 + 1 = 3 So the number for the sample Destiny number is “3”.

Special numbers we do not reduce – Master Numbers

There are only two numbers that are considered to be Master Numbers. After we calculate our name number and it shows as one of these we do not reduce them, these will remain as a two digit number. These special numbers are 11 and 22.

These two numbers are highly charged and possess more than the other numbers. This does not mean they are better nor worse. These numbers can be difficult to handle and will take more effort to integrate the characteristics along with more maturity to understand them.

11 is the most intuitive number and when looked at simply means the characteristics of a 2 but with more dynamic attributes but also more conflict as an example.

22 is the most powerful of all the number within numerology. This number is considered to be the most successful of all the numbers. It can be a limitless number and yet disciplined.

Conclusion

When we look at our name and the numbers; it offers a subconscious and conscious look at what our inner self is about. It can help us know ourselves at a deeper level so that we can manifest more and be happier whatever that is for you. There are always the good/bad or positive/negative sides to us all. What we do with the knowledge of both can open up a new world of joy for you, if you obtain the information and process it in a more positive way. One can make adjustments to self to make a better version of you.
